Bringing your boat to Lake Chelan? We offer buoys and dock moorage on both sides of the Point. We’ve made storing your boat and trailer easy so you can maximize your time spent on the water. A public boat launch is located a quick mile and a half away from the resort at the Old Mill Park boat launch. If you don’t have a boat of your own, Shoreline Rentals is on-site to make renting boats or jet-skis and getting on the water a breeze. Rent a watercraft of your choice by the hour or for a half or full day. Water ski, wakeboard, or jetski as you twist and turn through the cool lake waters on a hot summer day.
Non-motorized Water Sport Rentals
You don’t need speed to enjoy all that Lake Chelan has to offer. Rent a non-motorized watercraft from the kiosk and enjoy a leisurely day on the water while still getting a workout in. Choose from stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, or pedal boats from the beachside kiosk, located on the north side of the Point. Head out in the morning for a calm, peaceful ride or spend an afternoon sightseeing and exploring. Sandy Beaches
Perhaps Wapato Point’s most coveted offerings are our long stretches of sandy beach. Here at the resort, you’ll find two sandy beaches where you can play the day away. The down-facing shore of the peninsula is almost entirely sandy, with a large portion of it roped off for swimming. Spread out a towel or set up beach chairs to enjoy a dreamy lakeside beach day. Feel the warm sand between your toes before you wade into the water, or bring an inflatable float to relax on. Build sandcastles, dive into a good beach read, or simply breathe in the beautiful surroundings.
